sorry, but i usually stay quiet over such matters but i'd just like to say 'thanks' for all those who have supported us over the name change. it was made with good intentions. i for one have personally had enough of all this c@*ap flying about. i totally understand people who are passionate over marc and t.rex. i for one have really enjoyed playing his music and have become a fan myself but please, just leave us to do what we're doing and leave the politics out of it. peace and lovejase

At the end of the day, if the new name reachs more people in promoting Marcs music, then that's what we're all after anyway.Add to that, and the other reasons beyond the bands control, then I think the guys have made the correct decision regarding this matter.
But whatever the case, it aint worth falling out over.

I am a fan of the tribute scene and watch many bands. U2:UK and 'The UK Doors' are just 2 bands that use the 'UK' to identify themselves as a tribute from the UK.Simple as that. There are also bands that use the original name but spelt differently and others that use 'play on words' and variants of the name. Everyone has an opinion and mine is just chill out and enjoy live music and what these bands do to positively promote these groups and their music. John Hammond highlights ideally the petty mindedness of some people. There's more to life than sitting at home getting annoyed about a name. T-REX:UK, Jeepster, Hot Love, Too Rex, TREXtacy, These names are all connected to 1 great man and his band and they all mean no harm. Chill out guys! :) xxKate Robson

I watched Jurassic Park on TV over Christmas and was appalled by their use of the name T-Rex without Marc's permission. I'm pretty sure the band could not run at over 40 miles per hour and I think Marc himself would have been shocked to discover the band portrayed as a 30 metre long carnivorous theme park attraction.John Hammond
