I am very sorry to read that you have changed your band name to T. Rex U.K.I have been a supporter of yours over the years and been a strong advocate of your 'take' on
Marc's music.
The Name T. Rex as a band name belongs to Marc no one else!!!!
This I feel also applies to the other band that go under the name of T. Rex they too have no right to the name with out Marc!!
Even though they where going under the name of Mickey Finns T. Rex till Mickey passed away and it became T. Rex with a very tenous link via a one track 2nd drummer Fenton!
all this 'T.Rex' name claiming is only confusing the public!"
I do not think that it has been thought out throughly.

hi guys you know my thoughts on this from when we spoke the other week.after the bad rep the other "JEEPSTERS" are getting i think youve made the right decision,both for yourselves and for marc .
the last thing we want (especially)in this 30th anniversary year is bad publicity because of other bands known as JEEPSTER who are getting some pretty bad reviews
i'll be placeing your new T.REX UK banner on my site later if thats ok

Love the name....good idea, I'll put it on the ad that will go in the 'generation live' mag, everything except the local publicity for the Liverpool Bop has gone out ( record collector etc ) but the ' live gen ' goes to 20'000 young studenty types, so your new name will get a fair bit of of publicity through that.Rock On...Mike

Hi allunless anything else comes up, the next gig on the list is here in Liverpool for the 2007 T.Rex Convention.
