Well, what can I say? A great weekend in London was had by the band and we feel honoured to have taken part in such a great tribute to Marc's memory. Tanx must go out to Nige, Tony, Sue and Co for sorting the whole event. We were sorry that we couldn't make the service but have heard all involved (Barry Smith, Val etc....) did the Bolan community proud. Nice one!

We arrived at Klub Extreme at around 6.15 and were instantly taken in by the electric atmosphere in the Refectory. Amidst the hustle and bustle of setting up our gear, we met our friends Al, Margaret, Mark Sheehan, Pat,Hayley, Brenda, Darren,Val, Simon, Vinny etc.. who were all having the time of their lives. After setting up we were also excited to put faces to names such as Delflord and Rexlist to name but a few. Terry and Jude did a superb job as usual, pumping all the right tunes on the stereo!Hello to all those we met and boogied with later on on the dance floor, especially Poetess (good to see you!!) Paul Feldon sounded great, giving us classics like Hot Love and 20th Century Baby. Vinny and Delf (and our Marc) astounded the crowd with an amazing rendition of Elemental Child. (Vinny you are a left handed guitary man of the highest order, we salute you!) We would like to thank everyone for their wonderful reception to both the Jeepster and the Rarn set. We hope to be back next year.

As the evening drew to an end, after copious amounts of alcohol and dancing, everything became somewhat blurry. However, it did involve an endless journey (round the corner indeed!) to our digs, flying kebabs, Red Stripe, sleeping bag theft and snoring but in no particular order! Thank you Liam for your kind hospitality and hope to see all you Boley guys again soon. Rock On, JEEPSTER XXX

R.I.P Marc Bolan. Today marks the 28th anniversary of Marc's death. If you can't make any of the events commemorating his death, please take the time to play some of his music and spread his word. We will be rocking out in his memory this evening, celebrating his life and his music. Boogie On Marc,,, love from Jeepster xxx

With just a few days to go tickets are selling very quickly now & Klub Extreme only holds 200 people due to fire regulations. Please remember that members can only buy one ticket at the members price of £5, & non-members tickets are £7 each. All tickets will be £7 on the night.
