Held in Liverpool each year, Mike always puts in 110% to assure a great night in honour of Marc and raise lots of dosh for great causes. In order to confuse and confound you lovely people even more we have decided to change our name again to 'The REX' as you can see from the logo above!

Many thanks for all those who supported the first name change and understood the reasons why. We have taken on board all (most) of the opinions given regarding our name change and out of respect for these opinions and to avoid confusion with other T-REX related acts we have decided to change.

We regard this change as a positive one for the band, for Marc's music and for fans of Bolan and T-Rex.

Although we are bold and passionate about what we do, controversy and politics are not our bag and we refuse to get involved in such matters.

We do what we do because we enjoy it and enjoy taking the live experience of Marc's music to a wider audience. There is an untapped market of younger people out there that are yet to be turned on to Marc's music and are unaware of his influence. We aim to use what we have to enable them to listen to his music then go out and buy his records. There is evidence of this at every single gig we do - this can't be a bad thing!

Whatever you think of us (The REX, JEEPSTER, whoever we are?!) is academic, we'll still be playing for a while yet! Just enjoy Marc's music and keep a little of him in your heart.

We're down to play Tribfest the weekend of 18th-19th August 2007(excact date to be confirmed). You can vote on their website - http://www.tribfest.co.uk for whom you'd like to see headline. It would be a great achievement for Bolan and his fans if his music was to headline above other acts!If you can, take a moment to vote for us so we can move higher up the chart. Thanks to all who turned up at The Oxford Arms last night - A full house! A wicked sing-a-long to Hot Love at the end of the night and lots of boogieing!
